Musizen collects no personal data. Everything you enter — instruments, practice items, sessions, recordings, and settings — is stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud account. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. Your data is yours.
Nothing. Musizen does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.
All app data is written to a local SQLite database on your device. Audio recordings and sheet music PDFs are saved to your device's local filesystem. None of this data is sent to us or any third party.
Musizen offers optional iCloud sync powered by Apple's CloudKit. When enabled, your practice data — instruments, categories, items, sessions, and recordings — is synced to your own private iCloud database. This data is associated with your Apple ID and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access it. No one other than you can access it.
iCloud sync is off by default and can be enabled or disabled at any time in Settings. Sheet music PDFs are stored locally only and are not synced to iCloud.
Musizen does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. There are no SDKs in the app that phone home.
Musizen does not collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is appropriate for all ages.
Local data can be deleted at any time from within the app (Settings → Clear all data) or by uninstalling Musizen. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can delete your iCloud data from Settings → Reset sync state, or by managing your iCloud storage in your device's system settings. Uninstalling the app removes all local data immediately.
If the privacy practices of Musizen ever change, this page will be updated with a new effective date. We will notify users through an in-app notice for any material changes.
